Marie Lafor%C3%AAt

Marie Lafort is a French singer and actress. In 1978, she moved to Geneva, Switzerland and acquired Swiss citizenship.

Marie Lafort was born at SoulacsurMer, in Mdoc, in the villa RithRilou, named after her aunt and her mother Marie Threse and Marie Louise Saint Guily. Her fathers family, Doumenach, were originally from Olette, a village in the Pyrnes Orientales, on the border of Tt. Her paternal greatgrandfather, Louis Doumenach, led a textile factory at Lavelanet, in Arige and his son, CharlesJoseph Doumenach, was colonel and municipal counsellor.
